Sprinkling

Easter traditions Hungarian style

When I left Hungary last year, I was surprised on my last night with a big bucket of water so I do not ‘wilt’. This year I missed the tradition of sprinkling at home, so I thought I'd bring it to New Zealand, but in a more modern form. Instead of the traditional way of  sprinkling girls with a bucket of water, I've organised a water balloon battle so that this year it's not just the girls who get wet. However, only one of the lads took up the challenge in this cooler weather, so we decided to let everyone water everyone else. The water fight was a great success, no one is going to wilt!
