Hi everyone!
Today I’m going to tell you about what I saw in Budapest. In one of the photos, you can see that we were eating Túró Rudi. That day we stayed in a hotel, which had an elevator, and on the elevator door there was a very funny painting. It was very hot in Budapest.
On the second day, we went to the Budapest Zoo and saw a sloth, a lizard, red and white snakes, black and red birds called finches, and an owl. We also saw small turtles and big turtles. We saw a tamarin monkey, a brown-skinned snake, and an iguana. We went into a place where my grandma went into a shark’s mouth, and then we all went into the elephant house.
Later, we had to go to another hotel, where I made the breakfasts. Then we went to the cemetery and beautifully cleaned my dad’s mom’s grave, and I also made a little heart. We went to the Museum of Fine Arts, where we saw old things: an Egyptian exhibition, Egyptian writing, very old statues, and pictures.
We also went to Visegrád for a wedding, which was really nice. We climbed the Visegrád tower and later went to the most beautiful McDonald’s in Budapest. We rode the subway and then went to an escape room, from which we really couldn’t get out. We also went to the Natural History Museum, where we saw old stuff, reptiles, and dinosaurs.
Another day, we went on the Buda Cable Car (Budai Libegő). We visited the Great Market Hall, and later in the evening, we had a picnic in a park and played Viking Chess. Then where did we go? We saw an exhibition where everything was in the dark (Light Museum).
Finally, we had to go back to Auckland. This was my Hungarian news report.
See you all!
Csata-Ieda Yuri (Juli)
