I was born in Csíkszereda and completed my secondary education at Márton Áron High School. After a short detour in Cluj-Napoca, I earned my degree in accounting and business informatics at the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, also in Csíkszereda.

After university, I lived in Cluj-Napoca, then in Brno, and for the past two years, I’ve been living in Auckland. I have been working as a software developer since 2011. Currently, I am part of the data engineering team at Rocket Lab – we are responsible for developing and operating systems that assist in analyzing and processing data collected during manufacturing, testing, and missions.

I have two younger brothers, both living in Budapest with their families. My wife, Edina, and I got married in New Zealand in 2019, during a two-month trip spent mostly hiking. That’s when we fell in love with this faraway country, and the opportunity at Rocket Lab offered a great chance to experience what it’s like to live here.

At the Auckland Hungarian Club, I would primarily like to contribute by developing the IT infrastructure, but I’m happy to take on any tasks that serve the community and support the work of this wonderful team.
